Atletico Madrid rebuff Joao Felix's threat to temrinate his contract

The forward’s representative are looking to terminate his contract at Atletico Madrid
The ‘threat’ of Joao Félix ending his deal is viewed as an absurdity by Atletico Madrid. He must reimburse his €350 million release option if he decides to do so.
Simeone and Félix’s relationship, as well as that of the dressing room, are all but destroyed. Nobody has a clue as to what is going on.
He seems to be holding off on travelling to Barcelona till the market is over. He has already told his representatives and Atlético about it. He is refusing all other invitations to play for Barça.
El Chiringuito TV reports that Felix’s crew is requesting that his deal with Atleti, which expires in 2027, be terminated. The Portuguese winger allegedly protected his worth by only signing a new contract in January.
Felix’s worth, though, is dwindling at the Wanda Metropolitano due to a dearth of first-team appearances. From January till this summer, the 23-year-old also had a forgettable loan at Chelsea.

Even though he had only four goals in 20 appearances across all competitions, the Blues decided against making a permanent move for him. Rather, Barcelona, an Atleti opponent in La Liga, expressed interest in him.
Xavi, the manager of Barca, is reportedly interested in Felix heading the Blaugrana after a new midfielder and right-back are recruited, according to reports.
The representative of Portugal has already stated that he would be thrilled to play for the Catalan powerhouses.
His future with Diego Simeone’s team is uncertain as a result of those remarks, which didn’t sit well with Los Cochoneros supporters. It seems like his entourage is doing everything they can to facilitate a potential transfer to Barca.
When Joao Felix played for Benfica in the Primeira Liga, he was once seen as a potential global superstar. Even if he received the Golden Boy award in 2019, his venture with Atletico Madrid in Spain has left plenty to be liked.
