Barcelona more interested in selling Ousmane Dembele to Saudi Arabia than PSG
The French forward was in Xavi’s plans
According to reports, Barcelona prefers to transfer Ousmane Dembele to Al Hilal of the Saudi Pro League over Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
The Frenchman prefers to go to the Parc des Princes, but Barca intends to transfer him to Al Za’eem, as stated by Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna. It appears that the 26-year-old will be departing the Blaugrana this summer.
Al Hilal are pursuing the French winger and have increased their transfer demand from PSG to Barcelona. The Saudi powerhouses are also getting ready to give Dembele a mind-blowing €100 million salary plus €50 million in incentives per year.
The Catalan powerhouse are prepared to bide their time and wait, although Dembele has been explicit about what he will not do. The former Borussia Dortmund forward is only looking to join Luis Enrique’s Parisians.
Dembele’s announcement that he wants to leave for the Ligue 1 champions has enraged Barcelona. According to Cadena SER, the Blaugrana squad sees his likely departure for PSG as a kind of betrayal.
