Bayern Munich still confident to land Harry Kane this summer

Bayern Munich held talks with Tottenham in London for Harry Kane
Bayern Munich are now growing confident to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham despite the gap in the fee as they are optimistic about completing the deal for worth €100m.
Jan-Christian Dreesen and Marco Neppe, representatives of the club, travelled to London on Monday to meet with Daniel Levy, chairman of Tottenham.
Even though a deal could not be reached, Mail Sport has reported that Bayern are considering a third offer that would surpass the £68 million they spent on Lucas Hernandez in 2019.

While Levy demands no less than £100 million for his star player, it is understood that an offer in the neighbourhood of £90 million would tempt the striker. The forward is open to moving to Germany.
The England captain will join Thomas Tuchel’s team ahead of his first full season when Bayern agrees to a four-year contract with him.
During the previously mentioned discussions with Levy in London, the group consisted of Dreesen and Neppe returned to Munich at 7:10 PM on Monday.
In case Kane does depart, Tottenham have been actively evaluating other striker alternatives to fill the vacuum.
Though he isn’t particularly interested in moving, Bayern’s Mathys Tel has been suggested, and Gift Orban of Genk is another player who is rumoured to be on the radar.
If Spurs decide to transfer the England captain, Mail Sport claimed on Monday that they will also look at a deal for Brennan Johnson of Nottingham Forest.
Johnson has admirers at Aston Villa as well, but Forest manager Steve Cooper doesn’t want to sell him. However, with FFP on their shoulders, they must be practical.
