Bayern Munich considering signing David de Gea if they fail to sign Stefan Ortega

The Spaniard is free agent in the current transfer window
Bayern Munich are shifting their attention towards David de Gea to be their new goalie, as it appears that the Bundesliga winners will tough to find a signing of Stefan Ortega.
Despite departing Manchester United at the conclusion of the previous season, De Gea reportedly intends to join Bayern. However, Ortega, a Manchester City bac-up goalkeeper is the preferred choice for Bayern.
Ortega has apparently contacted manager Thomas Tuchel and is keen to join Bayern. The German team has not offered City a permanent or loan offer and is not believed to be close to reaching an agreement with the custodian.
Bayern are looking for a replacement for Yann Sommer, who departed to join Inter, and Manuel Neuer, whose injury recovery is still months away. Kepa Arrizabalaga was coveted by Tuchel’s team, but he chose to go on loan to Real Madrid.
