Bayern Munich considering signing David de Gea if they fail to sign Stefan Ortega

The Spaniard is free agent in the current transfer window
Bayern Munich are shifting their attention towards David de Gea to be their new goalie, as it appears that the Bundesliga winners will tough to find a signing of Stefan Ortega.
Despite departing Manchester United at the conclusion of the previous season, De Gea reportedly intends to join Bayern. However, Ortega, a Manchester City bac-up goalkeeper is the preferred choice for Bayern.
Ortega has apparently contacted manager Thomas Tuchel and is keen to join Bayern. The German team has not offered City a permanent or loan offer and is not believed to be close to reaching an agreement with the custodian.
Bayern are looking for a replacement for Yann Sommer, who departed to join Inter, and Manuel Neuer, whose injury recovery is still months away. Kepa Arrizabalaga was coveted by Tuchel’s team, but he chose to go on loan to Real Madrid.

De Gea had on Bayern’s shortlist chart, but they ultimately focused on Kepa Arrizabalaga, who played for Chelsea FC, and Geronimo Rulli, who had been an Ajax player.
Rulli injured himself shortly before he was scheduled to go to Munich to complete the transaction, and Kepa has since relocated to Real Madrid. The managers are therefore approaching De Gea, but they need a response quickly.
Bayern Munich currently has one healthy custodian and a young player as a backup. That won’t be sufficient, but the Bavarians reportedly already know they want to sign former Manchester United stopper David de Gea. However, his demands for wages could be a barrier:
