Bayern Munich are hoping to add more depth to their midfield

Bayern Munich are prepared to pay €60 million plus add-ons for Fulham’s Joao Palhinha. But Fulham want €80 million for the midfielder.

Bayern Munich are prepared to make a serious offer for Joao Palhinha of Fulham after being given hope that a transfer can be completed before this week’s transfer deadline.

Since joining Fulham in an agreement costing just over £20 million last summer from Sporting CP, the Portuguese midfielder has excelled for the club.

While concurrently attempting to approve Ryan Gravenberch’s move to England, Bayern have been searching throughout Europe for a new midfielder.

They previously convinced Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur to move to Bavaria, and they’re prepared to convince Palhinha to join them as another Premier League powerhouse.

Palhinha wasn’t for purchase, according to Fulham, who resisted interest from clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, and West Ham this summer. However, it is said that the 28-year-old’s attention has been diverted by Bayern’s interest.

Bayern have been urged to seek a deal because of the shared desire. They were considering making a $51 million bid, but according to sources close to Fulham, it will take more money—though not a lot more—to entice the club to sell.

Fulham had been asking interested parties for roughly £80 million, but now that Palhinha’s desire is known, it’s thought that a package of £60 million plus at least another £10 million in add-ons may be sufficient to secure him.

Fulham would make a significant profit from it, but they would also experience a sizable headache given that they have already lost standout scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic this month.
