Barcelona are keen on signing the Portuguese midfielder

As reported by GOAL, Portugal international Bernardo Silva has turned down a hefty offer from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) because he wants to sign with Barcelona. Silva allegedly has no interest in renewing his contract with Manchester City.

The 28-year-old is a wonderful player in terms of himself because any team in the world could use his ingenuity. Recent rumours about Silva moving to teams like Barcelona and PSG have been very prevalent.

Mundo Deportivo claims that Pep Guardiola won’t obstruct the player if he decides to explore a transfer to another club rather than prolonging his Manchester City stay.

Guardiola’s club, the Cityzens, clinched the European treble last season, with Silva playing a key role in the success. He played for the Manchester club in 55 games in all competitions, scoring seven goals and dishing out eight assists.

In 2017, Silva became a member of the Premier League team. He has thus far made 306 appearances for the team, contributing 59 assists and 55 goals in all tournaments.

The former AS Monaco player has also received a lot of attention regarding a transfer to the Saudi Pro League.

Bernardo Silva, a standout for Manchester City, was recently questioned about rumours that he was interested in joining the Spanish club and the French club.

Before Portugal’s recent matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland in UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers, he was requested to speak on the subject.

Silva apparently piques Luis Enrique’s attention. The player has dreams of playing for the Spanish giants, which may cause him to reject other opportunities and seek a career at Barcelona regardless of what Paris Saint Germain are looking for.
