Brighton closing in on €30M rated Cameroonian midfielder Carlos Baleba

The Seagulls are looking to replace Moises Caicedo
According to the report from Foot Mercato, Brighton and Hove Albion and Lille OSC have agreed to a €30 million agreement for the transfer of Carlos Baleba (19).
L’Équipe claimed this past weekend that Lille had been holding a bid of €30 million for the Cameroonian number six, and it is now believed that they will receive that amount. Foot Mercato claims that Brighton and Lille have come to an agreement.
With add-ons, the Seagulls will shell out almost €30 million. Baleba will have his physical with the Premier League team this week after receiving permission to fly to the UK.
For an individual who has made only six Ligue 1 starts, it is a substantial sum. He was a backup option last year, but he played the opening match of this campaign, a 1-1 draw with OGC Nice.
The return of Angel Gomes last weekend cost him his spot in the starting XI. Baleba now appears to be leaving, and Moises Caicedo, who joined the Blues for a British history degree, will be replaced at Brighton by Baleba.

Baleba has already reached an agreement to join Brighton & Hove Albion in his place.
According to reports, a deal worth approximately £25 million has been completed, and Baleba will now fly to England to finish his medical and ink the agreement next week.
The ‘powerful and strong’ Baleba is going to be aiming to grow into Brighton’s next significant phenomenon and follow the traditions of players like Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister prior to him.
If Liverpool wants to sign another midfielder before the time frame expires, they must now consider their alternatives.
