Erik ten Hag puts in 'express request' to club chiefs to sign Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat
The Dutch manager is reportedly desperate to sign a new midfielder.
So far, Manchester United have had three major signings in the ongoing transfer window in goalkeeper Andre Onana, midfielder Mason Mount, and striker Rasmus Hojlund. All of United’s signing have been designed to cater to missing pieces and roles in the United squad.
Andre Onana replaced longtime goalkeeper David De Gea, who had largely fallen out of favour with the management. Mason Mount was brought in to rescue a thinning midfield, and Rasmus Hojlund was brought in because the Red Devils were clearly lacking a striker, and meanwhile the additional goalscoring responsibilities fell on winger Marcus Rashford, he will have someone to cross into the box now onwards since Hojlund has arrived.
However, it is being reported that manger Erik Ten Hag is not done with transactions this summer. And with the transfer window scheduled to close in approximately a weeks’ time, the Dutch manger is still looking to sign a quality midfielder, with Mason Mount picking up an injury which could aggravate itself as the season progresses.
