Glazer family 'remains committed' to sell Manchester United 'but for the right price'
The Red Devils takeover has been the centre of attention for some while now
All six Glazers are committed to selling Manchester United for the correct price, but there are only differences in that price, with a few members unconvinced.
Numerous bids have approached the table during the club’s months-long acquisition negotiations, but the price being sought has remained a sticking point.
Although it didn’t seem like everyone in the Glazer family agreed on what should happen, the Financial Times is aware that they are now willing to sell for the right price.
The two men vying to control the Premier League giants are Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The Qatari bidder wants to execute the entire purchase with the assurance of extra funding, whilst the British bidder is willing to allow the Glazers on for a while before purchasing them out. This is how the bids are structured differently.

There were worries that the Glazers were utilising the Raine Group-managed process to estimate how much money they could make from a prospective sale.
As Americans search for a financial infusion due to a lack of funds, “strategic investment” was also being taken into consideration.
Joel owns about 19% of the voting rights while his five siblings, Avram, Bryan, Darcie, Kevin, and Edward, consider their options for the club’s future. Joel has the greatest individual share among the five siblings.
Massive fan protests and outrage have been directed at the Glazers in an effort to evict them from Manchester. Their lack of interaction and involvement has been a significant issue, and it has gotten worse as a result of the club’s prolonged on-field failures.
Following the sales procedure, briefings on the club’s financial standing were made to prospective customers. These talks, which are said to have been “bullish,” took into account potential revenue improvements like a new kit agreement.
This Thursday, United confirmed a 10-year extension of their contract with the company that makes their uniforms, Adidas, for an initial price of £900 million. Based on income per season, this is believed to be the largest kit agreement in Premier League history.
