Inter Milan set to complete signing of Manchester United target Benjamin Pavard

Inter are optimistic the deal will be completed today from Bayern
According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan are hoping to conclude the signing of Bayern Munich centre-back Benjamin Pavard soon.
According to reports, Benjamin Pavard has declined a transfer to Manchester United and could come to Inter Milan on Monday.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter has upped its offer for Pavard and is optimistic that a deal will be reached.
Bayern still needs to find an alternative for the defence even though the transfer is almost complete. Pavard, who helped France win the 2018 World Cup, had been heavily linked to a transfer to United.
It now looks, though, that Erik ten Hag’s team will pass on the chance to sign the 27-year-old.

The German side has one year left on Pavard’s agreement, so this is their final chance to secure a sizeable transfer price.
Pavard began his senior career with Lille before signing with Stuttgart in 2016 and Bayern Munich in 2019.
With 163 games for Bayern, Pavard boasts 12 goals and 12 assists to his credit. During his time at Bayenr he claimed the 2020 Champions League as well as has three Bundesliga championships to his credit.
It would seem strange to say in terms of how Pavard’s sale could be timed. If Pavard departs Bayern Munich, both the centre and right-back positions will suffer greatly, particularly since Josip Stanii went on loan to Bayer Leverkusen.
The Bavarians will now need to look elsewhere for a guy who could possibly play right-back. According to rumours, Bayern Munich attempted another shot at Kyle Walker of Manchester City but failed as the right-back set to renew his contract at City.
If Pavard were to go, Noussair Mazraoui and Bouna Sarr would take his place, followed by Konrad Laimer.
