Kylian Mbappe 'not a part' of PSG’s plans going forward

The Ligue 1 champions want to sell the striker as soon as possible

Kylian Mbappe has been snubbed of PSG’s main setup, he is not training with the first team, and has been training with transfer-listed players and players bound for exits. Reports have suggested that he will be left out of PSG’s season opener against FC Lorient at the Parc de Princes, he was not part of PSG’s preseason tour to Japan either.

PSG reportedly hoped that snubbing him from the first team would create enough fan pressure on him to change his mind about leaving on a free transfer next summer. PSG tried to convince him to extend his contract for a year, and even offered him a billion-dollar deal in an effort to type him to Paris for ten years, till he is 34, effectively serving as a lifetime deal.

However, Kylian Mbappe is adamant that he wants to leave the Parc de Princes, with rumors of him joining Real Madrid running amok. Mbappe has stated he will honor his full contract by staying another year at PSG. However, if this manages to happen, Mbappe will leave on a free transfer next year, something PSG want to avoid dearly.

PSG have now come to the realization that if they want to make any profit on the forward, this summer is effectively their last practical chance to do so. They have now clearly stated that if Kylian Mbappe doesn’t leave this summer, he will not be a part of the campaign in the coming season.

It is almost certain that he will not feature in PSG’s opening game, will continue to train away from PSG’s first team, and will not be a part of PSG’s plans going forward. PSG are now looking to offload Kylian Mbappe as soon as possible. When they got an offer from Saudi club Al- Hilal, they were more than interested in selling him, however Mbappe was not interested in leaving Europe.

As far as his move to Real Madrid is concerned, PSG are willing to sell Kylian Mbappe to the highest bidder as they have one single agenda of collecting a hefty transfer fee. At the moment, PSG have valued him at €200m.
