PSG will look for their third consecutive Ligue 1 title

The inaugural match of the Ligue 1 2023–24 football campaign will be played at the Allianz Riviera between OGC Nice and Lille Olympique Sporting Club in the wee hours of Saturday, August 12 (as per IST).

In the very early hours of Sunday, August 13 in India, Paris Saint-Germain will play FC Lorient at the Parc des Princes to open their Ligue 1 2023–24 season.

In order to win their 11th league championship in France’s top football competition, PSG edged Lens by just one point in the 2022–23 football season under previous manager Christophe Galtier.

The current Ligue 1 winners have chosen Luis Enrique to lead them.

In the previous 11 years, PSG have won Ligue 1 nine times. The 18 Ligue 1 teams will have played 34 games total, including 17 at home and the same number away, by the time the 2023–24 season comes to an end on May 18.
