Lucas Paqueta agrees six-year contract with Manchester City

The Cityzens are keen on signing West Ham midfielder
According to reports, Lucas Paqueta and Manchester City have reached a long-term agreement on a six-year deal.
The West Ham player garnered consideration from the Treble winners and was a key component of the Hammers’ Conference League triumph last season.
Man City are rumoured to have had a proposal rejected by the Hammers for up to £95 million.
Despite this, Lucas Paqueta, 26, reportedly reached a personal agreement with Man City, according to France Télévisions.
According to the report, West Ham are reportedly sticking out for £110 million if they want to offload another great player this summer. Declan Rice, the team’s captain, left during the open season to move to Arsenal for £105 million.

Before the start of the season in the Premier League, Hammers manager David Moyes was questioned about Man City’s pursuit of Paqueta during an interview with the media.
Moyes acknowledged that an offer had been made, but it was rejected, he said: “not anywhere near” the club’s price tag.
“We’ve had an offer from Manchester City, but at the moment, it’s not anywhere near meeting our valuation.”
Although Paqueta only recently relocated from Lyon to the London Stadium in the summer, it is thought that he is interested in a move to the Etihad.
While queried regarding the club’s potential in the Brazilian during Pep Guardiola’s press conference, the City boss spoke extremely bluntly.
Edson Alvarez, who came from Ajax to take over Rice, is the sole footballer that West Ham has acquired this summer. The team is also nearing finalising the contracts with Harry Maguire and James Ward-Prowse.
Paqueta’s departure, though, would deal a severe blow to Moyes and the team since it would leave yet another sizable gap that will need to be filled.
