Manchester City working on signing Lucas Paqueta and Jeremy Doku: Reports

City are looking for a replacement for injured Kevin De Bruyne and departed Riyad Mahrez
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Manchester City are in the final stage of completing the signing of Lucas Paqueta and are set to send a bid for Jeremy Doku.
According to reports, Manchester City and Rennes winger Jeremy Doku have reached a personal agreement, but a Premier League rivals wants to sabotage the transfer.
Doku, 21, has been continuously a target of the major players in Europe.
He had seven goals in 35 games the previous season, and last week Mail Sport claimed that Manchester City were considering a £50 million bid for the Belgian international.
City are searching for a successor for Riyad Mahrez, who departed the team in July for Ah-Ahli for £30 million.

Doku might be difficult to persuade to give up the opportunity to play for the Treble champions, but the Hammers might provide the promise of increased playing time.
Lucas Paqueta will cost Manchester City money, but the Brazilian has come to terms with his potential new team.
The Brazilian playmaker is viewed as a priority acquisition, but the treble-winners will have to meet West Ham’s £95 million asking price.
Paqueta joined West Ham from Lyon last summer and has already made 42 appearances, contributing to seven goals and five goals scored in all competitions.
Paqueta’s buyout provision, which comes effective next summer, is matched by the Hammers’ asking price, but the Brazilian may be seduced by the promise of Pep Guardiola’s Champions League winners.
