French outlets reported that the Brazilian informed PSG he wants to leave

Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano confirms Neymar has not asked Paris Saint-Germain he wants to leave the club after French publications reported he wants to quit the club.

Neymar has served as a member of PSG since 2017, when he joined from Barcelona for a then-record transfer fee of £190 million. The star forward has appeared in 173 games in the six years after he relocated.

Neymar has scored 118 goals and given 77 assists in that period. He’s been considered one of the top football players in the world, along with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, for the better part of a decade.

Given that, it comes as no surprise that many groups would like to capture him if given the chance. Just in the last few months, Neymar has been linked to Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal.

The Gunners probably wouldn’t have even been mentioned as a destination for the superstar until last season. However, they have won respect from many quarters after giving Manchester City a tough time in the race for the title.

According to Julio Baptista, Mikel Arteta’s side was a “incredible move” for the Brazilian.

Of all the Premier League teams, Chelsea appears to be the most committed to pursuing the forward. According to rumours, they are trying to sign him and have even gotten in touch with his agents to discuss a deal.

After informing his present employers he wanted out, Neymar will be eager to join a team that does want him, and Chelsea meet the description.

There isn’t any cause to believe they won’t do the same in this window, despite the fact that they already signed four attackers this summer. They acquired six in total last season.

The Spanish club might find it tough to afford him owing to continuous financial issues, so that move might be challenging.
