Nuno Espirito Santo informs Al-Ittihad board that Karim Benzema doesn't suit his play style

Karim Benzema joined Al-Ittihad after winning five Champions League with Real Madrid
Following several rumours, Karim Benzema has informed the club that his arrival is unlikely to fit into Nuno Espirito Santo’s strategy for Al-Ittihad.
After ending his 14-year career at Real Madrid, Benzema signed a three-year contract and joined the Saudi Pro League champions earlier this summer.
However, there are disagreements between the Frenchman and Santo, according to the Saudi publication Al-Sharq Al-Awsat through GOAL.
Santo allegedly told the Al-Ittihad committee that Benzema wasn’t appropriate for his brand of play and that’s why he did not ask for the transfer, according to the article.
The Portuguese manager reportedly declined the 35-year-old striker’s request for the captaincy.
According to reports, Benzema is “not comfortable” working within the atmosphere at Al-Ittihad right now, which might cause a surprise departure after only two months with the squad.
Along with N’Golo Kante, Fabinho, and Jota, the former Real Madrid star is one of four players from European teams who have joined the club this summer.

Al-Ittihad is currently in first place in the standings after winning back-to-back matches against Al-Raed and Al-Ta’ee to start the domestic season. Although Benzema failed to score in either contest, he did manage to provide an assist.
On Thursday, Santos’ team will play again against Al-Riyadh, and then on Monday night, they will play Al-Wehda.
Bellingham has had a fantastic first year at the Bernabeu. The midfielder joined Los Blancos for €103 million from Borussia Dortmund, and this campaign he contributed goals in both of their La Liga outings, including a pair of goals against Almeria.
Benzema left the team this summer and signed with Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League. The powerful Spanish club hasn’t brought in a replacement for the Frenchman’s calibre and goal-scoring potential.
They completed a loan transfer for Joselu from RCD Espanyol and have been linked to a bid for Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain.
