4. Pele´- 124
Known affectionately as “The King of Football”, Pele´ is widely considered to be the best footballer of all time. He was decorated as accordingly, winning three world cups with Brazil in three different decades. (1958,1962,1970). He remains the youngest player to ever win the world cup. Pele´ scored more than 1000 goals in his professional career while playing for three teams, out of which, 124 were headers.
3. C. Santillana – 125
Santillana was a centre forward who made 56 appearances for the Spanish national team and scored 15 goals. Touted as a very dynamic forward of his time, he is most remembered for his 17 season stint with Real Madrid in which he won the LaLiga 9 times and won the Champions League twice. In his 253 career goals, he scored with his head 125 times.

Regarded as one of the finest finishers in football history, Gerd Muller was a prolific goal scorer. He was equally decorated as he won the World Cup, the Champions League, and the Ballon D’or throughout the course of his career. In his career, he scored more than 1000 goals for club and country, out of which he headed 144.

As he does with most things, Cristiano Ronaldo tops the list of most headed goals scored in football history. He is by the only active player on the list, with others long retiring before he began his career. Ronaldo has won 3 Premier League titles, 2 LaLiga titles, 5 Champions League, and three Club World cups amongst many other tittles. The Portuguese superstar is the most internationally capped player of all time with over 200 caps and has scored the most number of goals in both international football, and Champions League history. Ronaldo has scored 145 head goals across five clubs and his national team. And with him still playing, the number is likely to increase.
