PSG and Al-Hilal reach agreement for Neymar's transfer to Saudi Pro League for €90m
The Brazilian will become the leatest top player to join the Middle Eastern league
A deal has been concluded between PSG and Al-Hilal for Neymar to transfer for €90 million. Neymar has reportedly agreed to commit to an agreement for two years with Al-Hilal that will pay him a staggering €160 million (£138 million/$175 million), as reported by L’Equipe.
The player also looks to have been granted the go-ahead, as PSG have already agreed to transfer him to the Saudi Pro League team.
Neymar, who joined PSG from Barcelona in 2017 for €222 million, making him the world’s most lucrative footballer in the ages, has been informed by the French team that he is no longer needed.
The 31-year-old hasn’t played since March because of surgery to recover from an ankle ligament. While fugitive forward Kylian Mbappe has rejoined PSG training, Neymar’s six-year stay in Paris appears to be coming to an end.

At the Riyadh-based club, Neymar seemed destined to team up with players like Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Neves, and erstwhile Barcelona attacker Malcolm.
The younger, more motivated players are thought to be important to the new boss Luis Enrique. Both Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi seemed to have a longer-term career outside of Parc des Princes. Messi left this past summer for Inter Miami.
Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona six years ago and has since not achieved enough at the Ligue 1 club only winning domestic trophies. He has made 173 caps for the French team, scoring 118 goals and dishing out 77 assists.
In that time, he also assisted the team in winning three Coupe de France trophies and five Ligue 1 championships, although he was unable to win another UEFA Champions League.
He was one of several famous people PSG were looking for to put together a team of galacticos to win Europe’s biggest trophy. But now his time appears to come to end at the French club.
