Saudi Pro League plotting major raid on Premier League next summer; Kevin De Bruyne on top of their list
Saudi clubs have remained most active in the summer transfer window
Many famous Premier League players, such as Kevin de Bruyne and Mo Salah, are already being targeted by the Saudi Pro League for new, no-holds-barred raids in 2024.
By signing seasoned Premier League players like Riyad Mahrez, Jordan Henderson, Allan Saint-Maximin, N’Golo Kante, De Bruyne’s Manchester City teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Salah’s Anfield captain, they have already altered the landscape of football.
The world-renowned player Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain has received an astounding £259 million bid from Al-Hilal, and Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola acknowledged that “the Saudi league has completely changed the market.”

Guardiola acknowledged there was little chance of keeping Mahrez, who was a crucial component of City’s treble-winning season, once Al-Ahli made a move for him and offered him an exorbitant salary.
“Riyad got an incredible offer and that’s why we couldn’t say ‘Don’t do it’,” he said.
