Manchester United fans finally have some good news to hear as the £6bn take-over of the club Sheikh Jassim is expected to be completed by mid-October.

The British entrepreneur Sir Jim Ratcliffe, a rival suitor who was prepared to let the Glazer family keep a part in the Red Devils, has been defeated by the Qatari monarch.

A date has been set, and an announcement might appear as soon as next month.

Before ending the 18-year rule of the despised Glazers, Sheikh Jassim’s team is now finishing their due diligence on the organisation.

The complete sale will be welcomed by United supporters who believed the Americans were taking their time and would eventually hold on to a portion of the club.

Senior Old Trafford insiders cautioned the Glazers against continuing to hold shares because there would be a significant response from the fan base.

After burdening United with enormous debt when they finalised their £800 million takeover back in 2005, they will generate a handsome profit. Since then, United has spent more than £1 billion on debt servicing.

Additionally, their most recent financial data revealed that their gross debt is now £725 million, the highest level since 2010.

In order to avoid paying any additional fees and to avoid taking payouts for dividends from the team as the Glazers did, Sheikh Jassim will eliminate that debt.

Along with continuing to make investments in the team, he also intends to enhance both Old Trafford and the club’s Carrington training facility.

The acquisition will put an end to a protracted process that began when the club was placed on the market in November.

Unfortunately for United, midfielder Mason Mount is unavailable for their Premier League matches against Nottingham Forest and Arsenal.

The Chelsea player, who cost £60 million in the summer, complained of a “small complaint” during Saturday’s 2-0 loss to Tottenham.

He is anticipated to be “out until the end of the international season next month,” according to a club announcement.
