Barcelona are open to selling the young forward for financial reason

Reporter Javi Miguel has revealed that an unknown club from the Middle East has shown interest in Barcelona’s Ansu Fati.

Ansu Fati, a standout player for La Masia, is being courted by a Saudi Arabian club, and the offer is believed to be “irresistible.”

Throughout the previous few months, numerous of Europe’s top players have relocated to Saudi Arabia. Even Barcelona have done dealings with the young league, and Frank Kessie is on the verge of joining Al-Ahli.

Given his youth, Fati anticipates playing regular minutes next season. After all, Xavi Hernandez’s 2022–23 season did not see him receive many.

But Fati cannot count on getting consistent playing time under the Spanish tactician. The 20-year-old has improved recently, but not sufficiently to earn a certain starting berth.

Yesterday, it was reported that PSG were interested in signing Fati and that the midfielder was willing to leave the team of his dreams. Luis Enrique, after all, has faith in the youngster and guarantees him playing time in Paris.

Saudi Arabia is currently unable to entice athletes with sporting promises. After all, they are distant from the top of the world and outside the purview of UEFA.

As a result, the Arabian teams have turned to business strategies to entice players to join their league. High salaries, favourable tax treatment, and sizable bonuses frequently work.

One may anticipate a massive proposal from Saudi Arabia for a player of Fati’s magnitude and age, and it will probably be impossible for the young talent to refuse.

However, according to Gerard Romero, Fati would reject the deal since the allure of Saudi Arabia has never been alluring to him.

Barcelona’s financial problems appeared to be under control under Joan Laporta. The club president was almost finished obtaining funding in exchange for a 16% ownership in Barça Studios, and the money would be utilised to sign the players for the first team.

That strategy has now dragged lower, and with the campaign beginning in a matter of days, the Catalans are in desperate need of financial support to help sign the new recruits and sign them to new agreements. Fati may be used as a pawn in this strategy.
