USA announce squad for September International friendlies

The USMNT will play Oman and Uzbekistan
The 24-player BioSteel USMNT training session squad has been chosen by USA Men’s National Team manager Gregg Berhalter in order to get ready for the September international season games against Uzbekistan and Oman On September 3, players will start arriving in St. Louis to begin a training session.
Both Asian Football Confederation rivals are getting ready for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, which will take place in Qatar in January.
On September 9 in St. Louis, the United States plays Uzbekistan in the opening match. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET at CITY PARK (TNT, Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock).
Three days later, at 8:30 p.m. ET (TNT, Universo, and Peacock), the USA plays Oman at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota.

With 12 players who helped the United States advance to the last sixteen at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and 16 players who were an element of the USA’s Concacaf Nations League-winning squad this summer, the roster shows strong consistency from the previous year.
Fall matches against teams from each of the three confederations—Africa, Asia, and Europe—present a significant chance for the USMNT as it prepares for the 2026 Summer Olympics.
