Odisha FC Ratings (By Gourav Samal)
Amrinder Singh - 7.5
Amrinder tried his best to keep the opponent goalless in the first half, but Mohun Bagan Super Giant was too strong to be kept silent by his team’s defenders.
Amey Ganesh Ranawade - 6.5
Ranawade was good at some clearances, but that was not enough to keep their counterpart away from scoring goals. He had a chance to create a chance for goal in the 59th but couldn’t get a good cross.
Carlos Javier - 6
Had some faulty clearances, one was also converted to a goal. But blocked a sure shot goal scoring opportunity in the 29th minute.
Diego Mauricio De Brito - 6
Diego was hardly seen having any impact on the field. Could have made regular moves, if not far ahead, atleast near the midline.
Ahmed Jahouh - 6.5
Ahmed got a yellow card but was very effective in defending the forwards in the first half. He also saved a goal at the last second near the goal post in the 30th minute.
Sakamoto Cy - 5.5
Sakamoto was very slow while charging at the right time. His best part of play was seen when he gave a lovely cross which was converted to a goal.
Serigne Fall - 5
Serigne was sent off from the field with two yellow cards. He could have played a more controlled game after getting the first yellow.
Mawihmingthanga - 6
The forward had too little to prove his worth as the game was mostly dominated by the opponent’s attacking game. He was seen with a lovely cross in the first half.
Jerry Lalrinzuala - 6.5
Jerry was brilliant while defending the attacks by the opponent, but couldn’t hold on to his game when Mohun Bagan started playing aggressively.

Roy could have proved his worth with some more tactical movements on the field, but he rarely created any chance in getting into the defense line. He was also adjudged offside when it looked like he had scored a goal for his team.
Lenny Rodrigues - 5.5
Lenny doesn’t possess much to his credit. He looked lost at times. He was good while defending the attacks but was average in the midfield while passing and keeping possession.

Vishal Kaith – 6.0
Kaith was really not tested in goal much. Didn’t have to make any spectacular saves, but his distribution and cross collection was pretty good.
Anwar Ali – 7.0
Anwar operated in a centre-back/right-back hybrid role and excelled in both. Defensively very strong with his timely challenges, and also did well going forward, playing a nice cross for the opener.
Hector Yuste – 7.5
Yuste commanded over a rock-solid backline and was very assertive with his work. Came up clutch with his clearances and blocks, frustrating the Odisha forwards and not allowing them open space at the back.
Brendan Hamill – 7.0
Hamill did well in a left-sided centre-back role, holding a sturdy defensive line. Neutralized Odisha’s threat through his side and used his physicality to make important challenges.
Manvir Singh – 8.5
Manvir operated in a right wing-back role and tormented Odisha all game long. Made some fantastic runs through the backline, and had a nice shot go over in the first half. Set up the opener with a cheeky flick and then also assisted Liston’s strike with a pinpoint cross.
Anirudh Thapa – 7.0
Thapa did pretty well in the defensive midfield position, helping move the ball along well and alos helping his side retain possession. Not troubled defensively as much, but his distribution work was pretty good.
Sahal Abdul Samad – 8.5

Subashish Bose – 7.0
Subashish was really proactive on the left, coming up with some key challenges to avert trouble. Did well moving forward, putting in a few nice crosses too.
Hugo Boumous – 6.5
Hugo Boumous missed a big chance in the first half, but recovered well from there. He carried the ball into the key areas impressively and created some nice chances with his clever passes.
Dimitri Petratos – 8.5
Petratos was a thorn at Odisha’s side all game long with his clever movement and link-up play. He set up a few chances with his smart delivery but really erupted in a centre-forward role. Scored his first after a goalkeeping error and then capitalized on a defensive error to lob the ball over Amrinder. Really clinical on the night.
