A 6-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on April 23, 2023 was a stunning result. The Magpies started the game brightly, and they took the lead in the second minute through Murphy. Murphy latched onto a loose ball in the Spurs penalty area, and he fired past Hugo Lloris into the bottom corner, this was the start of a thrashing.
