Where and how to watch UEFA Europa League 2023-24?

Some of the biggest clubs in Europe like Liverpool, Ajax, Roma, Bayer Leverkusen and Rangers will look to start their campaign on a positive note

The UEFA Europa League 2023-24 edition is the 53rd season of Europe's secondary club football competition. This is the 15th season since the competition has been renamed.

The tournament will start on 21st September and 32 teams across Europe will compete for the prestigious trophy. Eight teams from the Champions League group stage will join the qualified teams. The final of the tournament is scheduled for 22 May 2024 and will take place at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.

Group D: Atalanta (ITA), Sporting CP (POR), Sturm Graz (AUT), Rakow Czestochowa (POL)

Group F: Villareal (ESP), Rennes (FRA), Maccabi Haifa (ISR), Panathinaikos (GRE)

Group H: Bayer Leverkusen (GER), Qarabag (AZE), Molde (NOR), BK Hacken (SWE) 

Sevilla are the defending champions of the UEFA Europa League. They will compete in the UEFA Champions League and this opens the door for the other teams.

On matchday 1, there will be eight early kick-offs and eight matches will be played after the completion of these matches.

Liverpool are the favourites to lift this trophy and will travel to Austria for their opening match against LASK. The Reds have signed a few players in the summer and they look like a strong outfit.

Villareal, Roma and Bayer Leverkusen also play in the early kick-off games. Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen are the Bundesliga leaders and one of the favourites to reach the last four. Last year's runners-up Roma will look to reach their third European final in a row. The winners of the UEFA Conference League in 2021-22 lost to Sevilla on penalties.

Last season's Conference League winners, West Ham United, play host to Serbian side TSC in the opening match. The biggest match of the first matchday will be between Ajax and Marseille. These two European giants will look to gain some early momentum in their group.
