Jarrod Bowen has become the best player for the Hammers since his move in 2020

Liverpool and Newcastle United are allegedly interested in signing West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen.

It was thought that West Ham could have gone overboard on Bowen when he moved from Hull City to the London Stadium for £18 million in January 2020. Bowen wasn't playing in the Premier League.

The playmaker, though, has solidified himself as the pivotal player for the Hammers after making 166 games across all competitions and producing 45 goals and 33 assists.

In addition to scoring the game-winning goal in the Europa Conference League final the previous campaign, the 26-year-old has established himself with England, winning four caps so far.

He was chosen to play for the Three Lions against Australia and Italy in the upcoming matches after opening 2023–24 with five goals and two assists.

Bowen's permanent fate off the field, nevertheless, is still uncertain because he has fewer than two years left on his East Londoners deal.

In order to extend Bowen's contract over a prolonged period, West Ham reportedly engaged in negotiations behind the curtain, as reported by talkSPORT.

However, the same article also states that Bowen and his counsel are taking their time in negotiating a new contract, which order clubs have taken notice of.

Before making a prospective offer for Bowen in January or in the summer, Liverpool and Newcastle are reportedly each keeping an eye on the situation.

With the Merseyside heavyweights and the Magpies both vying for Champions League status for the upcoming season, the player's representatives are reportedly open to considering any offers that may be made to Bowen.
