Ratings: Diamantakos, Murray shine as Kerala Blasters share spoils with Chennaiyin FC

Kerala Blasters now stand at the top of the table.
In an outstanding Indian Super League (ISL) match held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kerala, Kerala Blasters FC and Chennaiyin FC showcased a remarkable display of game that resulted in a 3-3 draw, allowing both teams to share a point.
In a remarkable opening to the game, Rahim swiftly found the back of the net, securing the first goal for Chennaiyin FC within the initial minute of play, thereby granting them an early advantage. Not to be outdone, Kerala Blasters swiftly retaliated, with Dimitrios Diamantakos successfully scoring their first goal in the 11th minute of the match.
In the 12th minute, Jordan Murray successfully netted his first goal of the game, followed by another in the 24th minute. Continuing the scoring spree, Kwame Peprah contributed a second goal for the Kerala Blasters in the 38th minute of play.
In the latter part of the game, Dimitrios Diamantakos recorded his second goal in the 59th minute, resulting in a 3-3 tie and ultimately concluding the match in a draw.

Sachin’s skill was mostly tested in the first half of play. Although his team conceded three goals, he was quite brilliant with some of his saves in the match.

Drincic had a slightly subpar performance during the match. Although he attempted to elevate his game in the second half, his efforts were not quite as impactful as desired.

Ruivah was thoroughly outmaneuvered by their opponent while advancing with the ball.

Although Naocha conceded a penalty due to a foul in the first half, he performed admirably at the defense line during the latter part of the game.

During the latter part of the first half, Prabir was presented with a remarkable opportunity, however, he unfortunately failed to capitalize on it.
Danish Farooq – 7
Farooq ran in hard just to create numerous opportunities for his side, especially in the second half of play.
Vibin Mohanan – 6.5
Mohanan appeared significantly more self-assured during the latter part of the match, as Kerala Blasters initiated an offensive strategy.
Adrian Luna – 7
Luna provided assistance to Peprah in securing the second goal for their team. In addition to his assist, Luna exhibited great efficiency in the midfield for the Kerala Blasters.
Rahul KP – 6.5
Farooq exerted considerable effort to generate multiple opportunities for his team, particularly during the second half of the game.
Dimitrios Diamantakos – 8
Diamantakos demonstrated exceptional prowess by contributing two crucial goals to his team’s victory in the match. One of his goals came from successfully converting a penalty, while the other was a remarkable long-range shot from outside the penalty box.

Debjit had an extended and challenging day on the field. He faced a significant amount of pressure in the latter half of the match, especially when the Kerala Blasters unleashed a relentless offensive strategy.
Lazar Cirkovic – 6.5
Lazar was quite effective in the defensive line, he also got an opportunity to score a goal in the 54th minute of play but missed it.
Bikash Yumnam – 6.5
Bikash executed his role admirably until his substitution. He executed several pivotal tackles in the latter stages of the match, effectively thwarting the opposition’s advances.
Ankit Mukherjee – 6.5
Ankit efficiently upheld a robust defensive line on the left flank while also making crucial clearances.
Ajith Kumar – 6
Ajith’s foul inside the box helped Kerala Blasters to receive a penalty which they later converted to equalize the score in the 13th minute.
