M. K. Kashmina and Kiran Pisda, have signed one-year contracts with ŽNK Dinamo Zagreb, Croatia's first-tier women's football club. The duo is set to commence their training with the club today, marking a significant milestone in their careers.

At just 24 years old, midfielder M. K. Kashmina has already achieved significant milestones in her football journey. Her first major tournament was the Subroto Cup in Delhi, where she represented Manipur in 2012. In 2017, Kashmina played a pivotal role in Eastern Sporting Union's victory, securing the inaugural Indian Women's League championship on February 14.

Her dedication to the sport led to her selection to represent Manipur in the 36th National Games held in Gujarat from October 1 to 11, 2022. Most recently, in 2023, she showcased her skills while playing for Gokulam Kerala FC in the Indian Women's League. Furthermore, Kashmina's achievements also extend to international play, where she represented India at the U20 level and currently holds a spot in the national women's team.

Kiran Pisda, a 22-year-old forward, has made history as the first player from Chhattisgarh to play for the Indian senior national team. Her journey to this significant milestone began with her appearances for Raipur in various state league tournaments and representing Chhattisgarh in national leagues. In 2022, Kiran's talent caught the attention of Kerala Blasters FC, leading to her signing with their newly launched women's team. In 2023, she continued to showcase her skills by joining Madurai Club Sethu FC.

ŽNK Dinamo Zagreb, a prominent women's football club in Europe and the women's section of GNK Dinamo Zagreb, is the perfect stage for these Indian talents to continue their football journey. The club, established in 2016 as the successor of ŽNK Dinamo-Maksimir, currently competes in the Croatian Women's First Football League. Notably, our national team player Soumya Guguloth also graced this club in the 2022-23 season and left her mark by scoring crucial goals.

The signings of Kashmina and Kiran Pisda by ŽNK Dinamo Zagreb are not just personal achievements but also symbolize the growing recognition and opportunities for Indian women in football. As these talented players embark on their European adventure, they carry the hopes and dreams of a nation eager to witness their success on the international stage.
