Morocco announce squad for upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023

Morocco is in full stride with their training for their second U-17 World Cup
They will be looking to build on Indonesia’s impressive performance in recent FIFA tournaments, which saw the Atlas Lions go to the semifinals in Qatar 2022 and the Atlas Lionesses advance to the knockout phase of their inaugural FIFA Women’s World CupTM in Australia and New Zealand.
The Atlas Cubs, led by manager Said Chiba, are as driven as their older teammates after placing second in the CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria this year despite their strong play. Their whole focus is now on the FIFA U-17 World Cup in November, when they hope to excel against the best.

Morocco had a great tournament in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, winning their group and earning a position in the knockout stages. They suffered just one loss and won two games to show off their abilities.
Following a hard-fought final and a 2-1 loss, Morocco concluded the tournament in second place. They did, however, receive the Fair Play award for their outstanding performance during the competition, which is evidence of their sportsmanship.
