Adrian Luna pens heartfelt message to Kerala Blasters fans amidst Injury woe
The Uruguayan suffered a knee injury in mid-December.
Kerala Blasters’ forward, and one of the most influential players in the Indian Super League (ISL) – Adrian Luna is all set to be out of action for the next few months, after the player suffered a knee injury during training.
Though the official statement from the Blasters said that the injury is minor, it has been learnt that the player might require a minimum rest of one month, followed by an extensive rehabilitation programme which might take at least two months. This means that the Uruguayan midfielder is likely to sit out for a minimum of three months.
On the 24th of December, Kerala Blasters fans showed their support and admiration to Adrian, as they unveiled a massive tifo in honour of the Uruguayan.
Adrian appreciated this incredible act by the Manjappada, and penned a heartfelt message to the yellow loyalists.
“Thank you guys, this means a lot. This motivates me to come back stronger than before. It was great to see boys giving out everything on the pitch and getting that deserved victory against MCFC. The atmosphere in the stadium was electric, I could feel that from Mexico. Can’t wait to be back, see you all soon.” said Luna through his post on Instagram.
Adrian Luna has been Kerala’s most impactful player this season, and has helped his side immensely in their valiant quest for an awaited silverware. His absence will surely be a matter of concern for Ivan and his side, as they will now have to look for a capable replacement.
