ISL 2023-24: Jamshedpur FC vs Odisha FC – Build-up

Odisha FC is going to face Jamshedpur FC in their next match of Indian Super League on December 1, 2023 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur.

With the Indian Super League (ISL) now in the mid-season, both teams will strive to seize every opportunity to earn most points from the game. Jamshedpur FC will undoubtedly benefit from playing at home, with enthusiastic fans rallying behind them. However, Odisha will not hesitate to put forth their best efforts and claim victory from their adversary’s grasp.

Although the head-to-head record may favor the Jamshedpur side, Odisha FC is currently a transformed team that has no hesitation in confronting their opponents and challenging their superiority.

Sergio Lobera’s Odisha FC is currently filled with confidence following their recent victory in the AFC Cup. In an impressive feat, they triumphed over Mohun Bagan Super Giant with a commanding score of 5-2, all while playing on the latter’s home turf.

Their exceptional performance has propelled them to the fifth position in the Indian Super League (ISL) points table. With a total of 10 points, acquired through three wins and two draws in six games, Odisha FC is undeniably making their mark in the league.

Scott Cooper’s Jamsedhpur FC has achieved victory in only one match out of the seven games played this season, leaving them in the 10th position on the points table.

Despite putting up a strong effort in most of their matches, the team has only managed to secure a victory against Hyderabad FC with a narrow 1-0 win. They also suffered a defeat in their last match against Goa FC, losing 0-1. The upcoming challenge for them will be to maintain their record against Odisha FC, a task that appears quite formidable considering the current form of the Juggernauts.
