Ratings: Bemammer, Poojary excel as NorthEast United, Hyderabad FC share spoils

Petteri Pennanen scored the equalizer for Hyderabad FC.
In a tightly contested encounter, NorthEast United FC and Hyderabad FC locked horns in a battle that ultimately ended in a 1-1 draw, leaving both teams with a single point but carrying vastly different narratives. The early drama unfolded with a twist of fate as a Tamang own goal gifted NEUFC the lead in the first half. However, just before the halftime whistle, Petteri Pennanen came to Hyderabad FC’s rescue, leveling the score with a well-timed goal.
The draw, though providing some solace for NorthEast United, leaving Hyderabad FC still in search of their elusive first victory, languishing in the last position. Meanwhile, NorthEast United finds themselves in the 6th position, trailing the top four by four points, albeit having played two matches more.

Made a few half decent saves and collections. Could have done better to stop Hyderabad’s equaliser.
Dinesh Singh – 6
Wasn’t very active in the attacking phase and didn’t look as lively as he always does.
Michel Zabaco – 7
Was soid in the defensive yet again, and delay with everything that came his way.
Asheer Akhtar – 6.5
Wasn’t as strong as he always is in the backline, and had a busy night at the back.
Tondonba Singh – 6
Was very ineffective in the attack, and was at times negligent with his defensive duties.
Mohammed Ali Bemammer – 7.5
Dictated the midfield with his impressive ability to read the game. Made some crucial interceptions, and was rock solid throughout the game.
Gani Nigam – 6
Had a disappointing game and was sloggish with his passing as well as his positioning at time.
Phalguni Singh – 6
Was on point with his pressing, but couldn’t deliver during decisive moments, and lacked in proper decision making.
Romain Philippoteaux – 7
Was very active in the game in the first half, and had a big role to play in the goal. Somewhat lost his flare in the second half.
Nestor Albiach – 6.5
Was poor with his decision making, and failed to pass the ball to Romain on two golden opportunities. Created a few good chances in the first half though.
Jithin MS – 7
Was impressive down the wings, and did create some decent chances for his side.

Did a much better job in the midfield after coming on, and won some important duels.
Macarton Louis – 6.5
Was decent with his passing, and helped add some fresh legs in the midfield.

Gurmeet Singh – 7
Did not have much of an opportunity to save the opening goal for NorthEast United but managed to put up a solid display otherwise.
Nikhil Poojary – 8
A brilliant performance by the fullback. Slowly establishing his spot as the best fullback in the league with consistent performances.
S. Konsham – 6
A night to improve on for the defender.
Nim Dorjee Tama – 6
Unfortunate on the opening goal for NorthEast but recovered well from that position to defend well for his side.
Manoj Mohammed – 5
A poor night for a defender in which he managed to win none of his 5 ground duels.
Sahil Tavora – 8
A very impressive 80 minutes for the midfielder. Put in a decent shift in protecting his defense. 2 blocked shots, 2 interceptions and won 3 of his 4 ground duels. .
João Victor – 7
A balanced performance by the captain. Trying to influence the match both offensively and defensively.
Ramhlunchhunga – 7
A bright spark going forward for Hyderabad. Provided his side with directness and completed 3 of his 4 dribbles in the first half.
Petteri Pennanen – 8
Got his much-awaited debut goal at a much-needed time to help his side level up.
Mohammad Yasir – 7
Provided a much-needed assist for the opening goal and continued with his high intensity after he switched wings.
Joseph Knowles – 7
A decent night for the centre forward providing some good hold-up play when needed.
