Jamshedpur FC are currently in 10th position in the ISL table.
In a surprising turn of events, Jamshedpur FC’s head coach, Scott Cooper, is set to part ways with the club amid disagreements over operations and other critical issues. Cooper, who took charge in the summer with high hopes of steering the team to success, has faced challenges that have ultimately led to his departure.
The disagreements have created a strained atmosphere, impacting the team’s performance on the field. Jamshedpur FC currently find themselves in a disappointing 10th position in the league standings, having managed to secure only nine points from 12 games.
Cooper’s tenure as head coach has been marked by a series of inconsistent performances and an inability to establish a winning formula. The team’s struggles on the pitch, combined with off-field conflicts, have contributed to a challenging season for Jamshedpur FC.
Khel Now can confirm that the club has already started to look for Cooper’s replacement. A source close to the development informed Khel Now, “The club has already started looking for a replacement as Scott had informed earlier about his wish to leave the club.”
The decision for Cooper to leave comes after the completion of the first part of the league, as the Men of Steel are actively seeking a replacement to revitalize their campaign. The club will now look to turn the page and build a cohesive unit under a new leadership to salvage the remainder of the season.
The new coach would be tasked to lead the club in the Kalinga Super Cup which begins in two weeks’ time in Bhubaneswar. The club can still qualify for the ISL playoffs with 10 games in the league to go.
