The coach also shed light on his journey here with the Blues. He added, “Regarding the football, it’s been a rollercoaster ride. The highs of winning the Durand Cup, the lows of the poor ISL start, the turnaround including the unbeaten run with the Kanteerava Stadium rocking. Three finals in one season, what a feeling and what a ride for me, but also all of you supporters.”
Simon Grayson further highlighted on the positives he will be taking ahead in his life and how all of the love and suppport from the fans has left him with an emotional bond here with BFC. I wish my time here had ended on a more positive note, but at this juncture, I want to thank all the supporters, fellow coaches and players for their messages.”
Simon concluded his farewell note by saying, “What I experienced last night at the Fortress – the support from the fans after the game – is something I will always keep with me. To everyone connected with BFC, both on and off the pitch, you will be in my heart forever. I will wish you nothing but success going forward.”
