Roberto De Zerbi provides Brighton injury update; another full-back out for the Seagulls

Brighton injury update after loss to Arsenal
Brighton have had yet another possible setback with injuries. Joel Veltman’s knee issue caused him to hobble out of the 2-0 loss at Arsenal.
The Dutch full-back looked uncomfortable after an ugly spinning battle with Gabriel Martinelli in the first half.
At first, he started playing again, but he promptly collapsed again and finally hobbled away. Roberto De Zerbi, manager of Albion, remarked
“I think it is an important problem because he feels pain in his knee. “When there is a problem with the knee, it is difficult.”
Brighton already lacks Tariq Lamptey and Perv is Estupinan as a full-back, so they must make do in that section of the pitch. De Zerbi made a joke:
We will find a new solution – maybe Jason Steele can be the new full-back!”
Before kickoff, the Seagulls manager was questioned about Lamptey, Estupinan, and centre defender Adam Webster. He responded as follows:

If Brighton & Hove Albion hopes to repeat their top-six finish from the previous year, they must enhance their away performance in the Premier League. Their trip to Crystal Palace, their bitter rivals, begins on Thursday.
Roberto De Zerbi turned them into a club that could win whatever the previous season. With wins against Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea along with a draw at Anfield versus Liverpool, the team finished with the fourth-best away point total (28) in the Premier League.
After a modest 2-0 loss to Arsenal on Sunday, they are currently ranked 11th in the same table. Before that, they had won three straight games at the Emirates Stadium, which included the Carabao Trophy the previous season.
Both their declining away form and their inability to score for the first time in 33 league games have explanations. A long sequence of important player injuries that are pushing the squad to an impasse point has made the burden of playing in Europe and domestic commitments even more severe.
