16 teams will compete to get into the Round of 16
The UEFA Europa League 2023-24 play off draws are out and 16 teams play against each other. The group leaders go directly into the knockouts, while the runners-up play in the playoffs.
The right teams that finished third in their respective UEFA Champions League 2023-24 group stage have to compete in this stage and book their place in the knockouts.
Big names like Roma, AC Milan, Sporting CP, Benfica, Marseille and others compete for a spot in the last 16. The winners of this round and the Europa League group winners will compete against each other. After the play offs, there will be another draw to get the round of 16 fixtures.
The likes of West Ham United, Brighton, Liverpool, Rangers, Atalanta, Slavia Praha, Villareal and Bayer Leverkusen are eagerly waiting for their next opponents. They will play their next European matches in March.
