AFCON 2023: Mali, South Africa advance from Group E; Tunisia heading home

Both AFCON 2023 Group E matches ended in a goalless draw
The Group E matches in AFCON 2023 were completed today and we have our top two teams from this group. Mali and South Africa went through as the toppers, while Namibia finished in third place.
South Africa played against Tunisia in the final group match. The Tunisians needed maximum points from this match. They failed to win any of their group-stage matches and ended at the bottom of the group with two points in three games.
Tunisia struggled in the attack and failed to create enough scoring chances. They started the AFCON 2023 campaign with a 1-0 loss to Namibia. A 1-1 draw against Mali earned them their first point in the campaign. The last match ended goalless and they only scored one goal.
South Africa, on the other hand, managed to qualify in second place with four points. A 2-0 loss to Mali was followed by a dominant 4-0 win against Namibia.
