Barcelona plotting summer 2024 transfer for Joao Felix & Joao Cancelo

Both players are currently on loan at Barcelona
According to super agency Jorge Mendes, Barcelona are still intent on signing Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo in the summer.
Both players joined Barcelona on loan for the current campaign, and they have played a lot of games under Xavi.
Felix, though, has lost favour lately and is no longer in the starting lineup following a few lacklustre performances.
Mendes maintains that Felix’s “so far good” performances and that Barca will make an effort to purchase both players after their loans are complete.
“Barcelona plans to sign both Cancelo and Félix permanently. They plan to continue with them beyond this summer,” he told Record.

It’s far from guaranteed, despite his remarks, that the two will stay at Barcelona after the current season ends.
As things stand, it’s probably more likely that Cancelo is going to remain because Felix’s high price tag will be a serious obstacle if Barca decides to retain the forward.
Throughout the summer transfer season, Barcelona recruited the Portuguese pair on loan from Atletico Madrid and Manchester City. As the club’s president Joan Laporta has acknowledged, the team now plans to render the signings permanent.
Because Manchester City does not want to approve another loan agreement, the Catalan giants intend to sign Cancelo completely next summer.
Felix’s current financial situation prevents them from meeting the Colchoneros’ high asking price for the striker, so they may arrange another loan transfer with Atletico with a chance to purchase him in the not-too-distant future.
Xavi’s are now fourth in the league standings, nine points behind leaders Girona and seven behind bitter rivals Real Madrid. They have not won in their last two La Liga games.
