What are the football matches in AFC Asian Cup & AFCON 2023 today? (17 January 2024)

Teams will start their 2nd group matches in the AFC Asian Cup

The AFC Asian Cup has entered the second round of group matches. 24 nations have completed their first group matches.

Group A teams will be in action in the Asian Cup. Lebanon and China will be in action in the first match of the evening. China played a goalless draw in their opener against Tajikistan, while Lebanon suffered a 3-0 defeat against hosts Qatar in the opening match.

AFCON 2023 will witness the Group F teams in action. Morocco, Tanzania, DR Congo and Zambia will play their first group match. Morocco are one of the favourites to lift the African crown. They played in the FIFA World Cup 2022 semi-finals and are one of the most in-form teams in the continent.
