PSG willing to offload summer signing Goncalo Ramos

Luis Enrique has been left unimpressed by Goncalo Ramos’ performance
Only six months after joining PSG for €65 million, Gonçalo Ramos may depart in the event of a strong offer.
Luis Enrique doesn’t think he’s very good and doesn’t think he’s trustworthy in big games. The summer saw the much-anticipated arrival of the Portugal international, who has only scored once and dropped out of the starting lineup.
The spotlights remained on Luis Campos reestablishing himself at one of Europe’s toughest teams after he barely made it through his first season there. Leading football consultant to the French champions, he sold Neymar and removed manager Christophe Galtier from his responsibilities without preventing Lionel Messi from leaving.
Following the appointment of Luis Enrique, his rumoured fourth option to succeed Galtier, Campos set about putting together a new-look team. Signing Goncalo Ramos on a loan from Benfica with a buyout clause was one of his first actions. Ramos will eventually set the Parisians back up to €80 million, even if they didn’t send the Portuguese team a single dime this summer.
It made some sense at first glance. Though they understood they had to move on from Messi and Neymar, PSG were filled with doubt regarding Kylian Mbappe’s future. It needs a forward, in whatever form. But Ramos wasn’t the sole assailant to enter Parc des Princes through the front gate during the transfer window.

Six of the 11 players who Campos approved in those three months were offensive players whom Luis Enrique would have access to in 2023–2024.
Xavi Simons, who was loaned out to RB Leipzig right away but is anticipated to return at some point, is not included in that. When you take into account that Mbappe ultimately decided to stay, the cupboard was everything but empty.
There was always going to be a spare part, and at this point, Ramos appears to be that person. Even while they profess to be more frugal with their spending, the requirement to pay an initial €65m (£57m/$70m) already appears like an unwarranted financial weight that will need to be dealt with in the upcoming months.
