Davies has demanded Bayern to make him the highest earner at the club

Real Madrid have agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies despite the German club’s efforts to extend his deal.

Real Madrid has been keenly and opportunistically following the events involving Alphonso Davies over the past few months.

The potency of Carlo Ancelotti’s team was demonstrated by the Royal Whites’ recent Spanish Super Cup victory, which was the result of their excellent play this season.

But Real Madrid has a history of consistently setting the standard higher. The left-back position is another one that, in theory, could use some elite skill.

Real Madrid is therefore salivating at the thought of signing Davies, who has not yet been able to agree on a deal with Bayern Munich.

In fact, the Bavarians do not intend to pay Davies twice the quantity as his present contract, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Davies wants €13 million a season to establish himself as one of the most lucrative players in the team.

The Canadian’s agreement will end in June 2025, therefore Bayern Munich is expected to put him up for sale during the next summer transfer window since they are unwilling to give up him on a free transfer the following year.

Real Madrid will be excited to take advantage of the situation if negotiations come to a deadlock since Bayern has not shown that they would be willing to alter their pay structure for Davies.

Davies would indicate taking a big step up, even if Carlo Ancelotti recently supported Ferland Mendy and hailed him as the best defensive full-back in the world.

Real Madrid is being patient and cool right now; Florentino Perez has no intention of making any decisions that might jeopardise the surgical procedure, which was supposed to happen in the upcoming season.

Bayern will have to sell the 23-year-old if he doesn’t accept their proposals of a contract extension by June. He has turned down their offers thus far.

Real Madrid will then proceed conventionally and negotiate a formal contract with the German team at that point.
