Real Madrid target Man City's on-loan right-back Yan Couto

Yan Couto is currently on loan to Girona
Yan Couto, a right-back for Manchester City who has been excellent while on loan at unexpected LaLiga leaders Girona, is interested in joining Real Madrid. Real are reportedly quite interested in signing the young defender and is keeping an eye on his circumstances, according to Marca.
This season, Couto has excelled and has been a major factor in Girona’s extraordinary success. He has one goal and a total of five assists in 19 La Liga games, good for a tie for the second-most assists in the league. In addition to other luminaries such as Aleix Garcia, Savio, and Artem Dovbyk, he has contributed to Girona’s 20-match winning streak in La Liga.
Numerous elements are in Real Madrid’s favour as they consider signing Couto. His contract will expire at the end of the following season, thus when his loan period ends and he returns to City, he might be available for a reduced price. Even at the age of 21, he has demonstrated his ability to dominate La Liga.
The fact that Couto previously stated that Cristiano Ronaldo was his idol and that playing for Los Blancos was his desire could potentially be a significant contributing factor.

Dani Carvajal gets back to his best in 2023–24 after a somewhat disappointing season the previous year. But Lucas Vazquez recently suffered a chronic hamstring injury, which will keep him out of action for most of the remainder of the season.
Given that both players are 32 years old and that Real Madrid doesn’t have any other trustworthy right-backs in the lineup, this might be the ideal time to explore acquiring Couto.
Jeremy de Leon, a 19-year-old winger from Castellon, Puerto Rico, has agreed to join Real Madrid. Real Madrid signed him to a contract that would have expired at the end of the current campaign, and he will now play for their minor squad, the Castilla.
