Jamshedpur FC have now re-entered the ISL top-six, after defeating East Bengal today.

On a night when two sides were looking to navigate their way into the knockouts, Jamshedpur FC brought out their absolute best and handed East Bengal a haunting defeat. The Men of Steel pulled off an incredible comeback win against the Red and Gold Brigade, thanks to a second half masterclass by Rei Tachikawa and Jeremy Manzorro.

Khaldi Jamil continues to bring out the best of his team and help his team build upon their newly found confidence. The tactician’s side have kept their quest for the playoffs very much alive with a statement victory at home. It was also Jamshedpur FC’s first home win after 140 days and six winless games.

Khalid Jamil is a magic man and it seems there’s no stopping him. Jamshedpur FC began the game on the right note and dominated the first half, but a 45th minute goal by Nandhakumar Sekar ruined their momentum and hardwork. But, they did not let that goal affect them and came out all guns blazing in the second half.

They threw the kitchen sink at Carles Cuadrat’s side before Rei Tachikawa equalized for them in the 80th minute. It seemed both sides would be very happy to take a point out of this highly-staked fixture, but Jamshedpur FC had other plans.

Just when it looked like the game was over, Daniel Chima Chukwu won a crucial free-kick just outside the East Bengal penalty box. Jeremy Manzorro stood up to the occasion yet again and scored the winning goal in some style. With this win, Jamshedpur FC have re-entered the ISL top-six with 20 points from 17 matches.
