Manolo Marquez lost three back-to-back games for the first time in his Indian Super League career.

It was an incredible game of two contrasting halves as FC Goa took a trip to the yellow city of Kochi. The Gaurs began on the right note in Kochi, but Kerala Blasters scripted a comeback to remember in the second half and took all three points.

The first belonged to FC Goa but Kerala Blasters changed the storyline completely in the second half. The celebrations will go on all night long in Kochi as Kerala Blasters pull off the unthinkable against one of the most consistent sides this season.

Rowllin Borges opened the scoring for the Gaurs in the 7th minute before Yasir added a second goal in the 17th minute. FC Goa continued to dominate while Kerala Blasters were trying to catch their breath before the referee blew the half-time whistle.

Ivan Vukomanovic’s half-time team talk was nothing short of a miracle for the Blasters as they completely turned the game on its head from the get go in the second half. Daisuke scored a wonder goal from a freekick and initiated the comeback for his side before Diamantakos restored parity with a penalty.

Dimitrios Diamantakos did not stop there and put his side in front within a space of just three minutes. And then Kerala Blasters’ Lithuanian import Fedor Černych scored a goal straight from the heavens and ensured a much needed win for his side.
