The Blasters will play their last game against Hyderabad FC in this season of ISL.

As the Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-24 gears up for its second phase, Kerala Blasters FC stands at the forefront, ready to continue their remarkable journey. After a stellar performance in the first phase, where they finished atop the table with 26 points from 12 matches, the Blasters had their sights set on clinching the League Winners’ Shield and Indian Super League 2023-24 Title.

Despite encountering significant fitness setbacks in the initial phase, including injuries to key players like Ishan Pandita, Marko Lešković, and Dimitrios Diamantakos, Vibin Mohanan, Freddy Lallawmawma and Adrian Luna, Kerala Blasters managed to maintain their momentum. The team’s young talents stepped up during critical moments, demonstrating their determination and resilience on the field.

However, the Super Cup campaign brought disappointment for Blasters fans, as the team finished third in Group B with only one win. The passionate fan base, eagerly awaiting a title since the club’s inception. Despite the setbacks, the passionate supporters remain steadfast in their quest for the elusive title, harbouring hopes of securing both the League Winners’ Shield and the ISL 2023-24 Championship.

The road ahead for Kerala Blasters in the second phase is riddled with challenges, but the return of key players from injuries offers a glimmer of hope. Players like Jeakson Singh Thounaojam, Freddy Lallawmawma, and Vibin Mohanan have resumed training with the squad, bolstering the team’s lineup.

The management made moves to address the absence of sidelined players. Lithuanian international player Fedor Černych stepped in as a replacement for the injured Adrian Luna, while Emmanuel Justine was enlisted to fill the void left by Kwame Peprah.

Looking ahead, the Kerala Blasters have a challenging set of fixtures in the second phase, facing teams like FC Goa and East Bengal FC. Their first game in the second phase ended in a loss against Odisha FC. The fans eagerly anticipate the team’s performance as they strive for the ultimate glory in the upcoming matches.
