The Indian Super League’s (ISL) latest entrants Punjab FC have completely changed their approach and have turned up the heat ever since the turn of the year. Punjab FC were struggling to win a game in 2023, but have won three out of their last four games.

Next up, they will face a new look Jamshedpur FC who have also changed the way they go about things since the turn of the year. This fixture promises to be an absolute cracker. On that note, let us take a look at how things stand ahead of the game.

Punjab FC have turned things around very well ever since the start of 2024. They have now become completely different in comparison to how they were in the first half of the season. Their never say die attitude coupled with their intent, approach has made a lot of difference.

They did the impossible by defeating Kerala Blasters in Kochi and became the first team to defeat them at home since October 2022. They have now two back-to-back games and will surely be eyeing a third consecutive win.

Jamshedpur FC on the other hand have also transformed themselves into a completely new and strong unit under the tutelage of Khalid Jamil. The Red Miners have now become a new look side building upon their newly found confidence.

They come into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw against Bengaluru where they fought back from behind and salvaged an important win. They are currently placed outside the top six and a win on Thursday will take them into the top six.
