Brazil will face England in the March international break
After providing an update on the Liverpool custodian, Brazil’s national team manager hinted that Alisson Becker might be sidelined for at least the next month.
Before Wednesday’s match against Luton, Jurgen Klopp announced that the Brazilian No. 1 would be sidelined for the “foreseeable” future due to injury. He had missed their 4-1 triumph over Brentford.
As a result, Caoimhin Kelleher will start in his place for their Carabao Cup final against Chelsea this coming Saturday. It now appears that Brazil’s manager, Dorival Junior, will be without the custodian for at least the next month.
Fabrizio Romano, in a conversation with TNT Sports, stated that Alisson will not be able to make it back before time runs out for their friendly against Spain on March 24 and England on March 23.
He also said that Matheus Cunha of Wolves and Joao Pedro of Brighton will not be playing in the games. He may potentially miss some important matches for Liverpool in all competitions if he misses those games.
