Alphonso Davies has confirmed he is keen on joining Real Madrid
Alphonso Davies, who is supposedly being targeted by Real Madrid, has a price tag attached by Bayern Munich, and they are also preparing a replacement for the full-back. Sky Germany claims that Nick Huoseh, Davies’ advisor, and Christoph Freund, Bayern’s Sporting Director, met in private in Munich to talk about the player’s future, which is currently in jeopardy.
The 23-year-old Davies is demanding a significant pay boost in the event that he must sign an early and lengthy contract extension because his current deal expires in 2025. Bayern, meanwhile, don’t seem eager to oblige him because they aren’t quite thrilled with his recent output.
Due to a muscular ailment, Davies is currently out of the lineup but should be back for the forthcoming match against Freiburg.
If Davies declines to sign a new deal, Bayern are ready to let him go during the summer transfer window. According to the article, the Bayern management has already begun to plan Davies’ departure and expects him to go.
Real Madrid and Davies’ representation have been in talks for several months already. It is recognised that discussions about the financial package are going well, and reaching an agreement shouldn’t present any difficulties.Still, the transfer cost is the sticking point. An initial bid of about €35 million (£30 million/$38 million) is anticipated, and Real Madrid is apparently willing to give a complete package of €40 million (£34 million/$43m) to €50 million (£43m/$54m).

Given that the player will only have one year remaining on the deal in the summer of 2024, Bayern believes Los Blancos will do whatever it takes to pay the minimum.
All eyes are on Max Eberl, who will take over as sports director on Monday, as the scenario develops. Eberl has the difficult challenge of quickly handling this complex negotiation. The prevailing belief is that Bayern have already identified Theo Hernandez of AC Milan as the leading candidate to replace Davies in the background.
