Despite failing at Bayern Munich, many big clubs are vying for Thomas Tuchel’s signature
One of the world’s best managers, Thomas Tuchel has led many teams to victory over the years. After both parties agreed to end their relationship at Bayern Munich at the end of the season, it will be interesting to see where he ends up next summer, with many Premier League and La Liga clubs interested in securing him.
It was during his time with Mainz that Thomas Tuchel became famous, leading Mainz to one of their best Bundesliga finishes, which eventually led to his move to Dortmund. Dortmund became a contender for the Bundesliga title season after season under his guidance. It was in the colours of Chelsea, however, that he achieved his greatest success as a manager, leading the team to champion league glory and multiple awards.
Let’s take a look at the four clubs Thomas Tuchel can join after leaving Bayern Munich:
Chelsea
When Thomas Tuchel joined the club, he was an instant hit, helping the team win the Champions League as well as the Super Cup and Club World Cup. After a poor run of results and the arrival of new owners, he was replaced by Graham Potter, despite protests from fans. Pochettino has a lot of pressure on his shoulders to deliver results. With Tuchel interested in a return to the Premier League, Chelsea may think about bringing him back to the Premier League.
Liverpool
In light of Jurgen Klopp’s confirmed departure at the end of the season, Liverpool are seeking a top-flight manager to lead them next season. Thomas Tuchel may be able to lead the team next season due to his experience managing Chelsea in the Premier League. As a manager of some of Europe’s biggest clubs, he has proven he is the perfect person to lead the team.

Manchester United
This season, Erik Ten Hag has looked under pressure with the club languishing in sixth place. After beginning his career at Old Trafford with great promise, several controversies and poor results have raised questions about his future.
Although the new owners have shown intention to support Erik ten Hag, if Manchester United fails to qualify for the Champions League next season, it could mean the end of his colourful spell at Old Trafford. Thomas Tuchel may fancy his chances of managing them given his experience in the Premier League.
Barcelona
Barcelona were expected to go back to the top again under the leadership of Xavi. Despite Xavi’s impressive start to his tenure, he has failed to live up to the expectations of the club because of poor form and pressure from the fans and media.
The team also faces a hard task to fight for the LaLiga this season, as Xavi’s side has already lost two cup ties this season. Only the Champions League offers them a chance at silverware. Thomas Tuchel can bring experience to a side that has won titles in the past. They have drawn against Napoli in the first leg.
