The SAFF are set to look into Cristiano Ronaldo’s actions towards fan
After making what appeared to be an offensive gesture after a Saudi Pro League game, Cristiano Ronaldo is apparently going to be the subject of an investigation.
Al-Shabab, who feature players like former Atletico Madrid midfielder Yannick Carrasco and former Barcelona superstar Ivan Rakitic, faced the 39-year-old’s Al Nassr on Sunday.
In minute 21, Ronaldo scored the game’s first goal from the penalty spot, but just before halftime, Carrasco’s spot shot brought his team back.
After the restart, Talisca gave the visitors the lead back, and the Brazilian was once more needed to give Al Nassr a late victory after Carlos had equalised for the hosts. At the final siren, Ronaldo praised his fellow players after the 3-2 victory had gained three points.
The crowd’s chants of Lionel Messi’s name, his former opponent in the El Classico, seemed to annoy the Portugal international, though. In answer, Ronaldo put his palm to his ear and made a motion towards his crotch that appeared to be directed at the spectator fans.
